Colorado Gives Campaign!

Help AVP Colorado bring the life changing Alternatives to Violence Project conflict resolution workshops to Colorado's prisons and communities. Empower people to lead nonviolent lives through effective communication, affirmation, respect for all, community building and cooperation.

Developed from the real-life experiences of prisoners and others, AVP facilitates the discovery of every person's innate power to positively transform themselves and the world.

AVP works. Studies have shown that AVP is an effective means of reducing violence and encouraging pro-social behaviors. Study findings include a reduction in behavioral write-ups, reduced recidivism, and lower levels of anger. Inmates and facilitators report remarkable growth and learning results from participation in even a single session.
