Volunteer as an AVP Workshop Facilitator
Make a difference in other people’s lives as well as experience the joy of personal growth by becoming an AVP Workshop Facilitator.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitate three-day workshops in correctional facilities and communities
Lead group exercises, discussions and activities
Work collaboratively with a facilitating team
TRAINING AND SUPPORT:
To become a facilitator, a person must participate in the Basic, Advanced, and Training for Facilitators Workshops and serve as an apprentice co-facilitator. AVP Colorado relies on the well-defined curricula, manuals and support developed by AVP-USA.
“AVP has given me the opportunity to inspire others to look inward—and to discover new things about myself. We can all use these tools to better our relationships at home and at work too.”

COMMITMENT:
Workshop days and times vary; many are on weekends. Workshops last between 18-22 hours over the course of two to three consecutive days. Workshop planning requires an additional time commitment.
